Management change: Uta Fesefeldt appointed CFO and Christoph Ludmann appointed CEO of HolidayCheck Group

HolidayCheck, the travel booking and review platform, announces Christoph Ludmann has been appointed CEO and Uta Fesefeldt CFO of the HolidayCheck Group with effect from 1 February 2024. Marc Al-Hames, former member of the Management Board and CEO, is stepping down from this operational role within the HolidayCheck Group to devote 100 per cent of his time to his duties as a member of the Executive Board of Hubert Burda Media. In this role, he will continue to be closely involved in the strategic development of HolidayCheck.

Marc Al-Hames had taken over as CEO of the HolidayCheck Group in May 2020 and became a member of the Management Board of Hubert Burda Media, the majority shareholder of the HolidayCheck Group, in January 2023.

CEO Christoph Ludmann has been CEO of HolidayCheck AG (Switzerland) since July 2017, and has been with the company since 2006. In his role as Director Online Marketing, he was responsible for performance marketing, search engine optimisation and business intelligence.
