Downtown Officers Arrest Suspect Following a Stabbing Incident

At about 10:24 PM, on Sunday, August 4, 2024, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) arrested Alicia Morasse, 29, of Cambridge, after a stabbing incident.

Officers responded to the area of 1 Harrison Avenue for a removal of a patron. Upon arrival, officers were advised that an adult male victim had been stabbed. Officers immediately requested Boston EMS to respond to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers were advised that the suspect was causing a disturbance inside of the restaurant and was requested to leave. An altercation occurred inside, and the suspect stabbed the victim before fleeing the area. Officers were provided surveillance footage and disseminated an image of the suspect to all responding units.

Officers were able to locate the suspect in the area of Stuart Street and Church Street. Officers placed the suspect into handcuffs and recovered a knife from her back pack.

Morasse was placed under arrest and charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, Vandalize Property, and Threat to Commit a Crime. She is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
