Road closure planned on Cumberland Drive for water service line repair

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has planned to close Cumberland Drive from Crossland Avenue to Hickory Grove Boulevard on Wednesday, April 17, at 8 a.m. for water service line repair.

Traffic will be detoured to Crossland Avenue, Hickory Grove Boulevard, and Woodmont Boulevard to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route when possible.

The water service line repair is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 4 p.m.
