Entities that are not authorised to accept deposits or other repayable funds - Neptune Whisper Unipessoal, Lda., Nenupharprodigy, Unipessoal, Lda and 'www.brightfinance.co'

1. Banco de Portugal warns that the entities developing activity through the website 'www.brightfinance.co' are not authorised to carry out in Portugal any financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, in particular the activity of accepting deposits or other repayable funds.

2. Furthermore, the entity Neptune Whisper Unipessoal, Lda., with the taxpayer number identification 515929140, owned by Simeon Simeonov Hristov, with the taxpayer number identification 303103671, and the entity Nenupharprodigy, Unipessoal, Lda., with the taxpayer number identification 515140740, owned by Bogdan Aleksandrov Ivanov, with the taxpayer number identification 303103582, are also not authorised to carry out in Portugal any financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, in particular the activity of accepting deposits or other repayable funds.

3. In Portugal, deposits and other repayable funds, as provided for in Article 4 (1) (a) of the Legal Framework of Credit Institutions and Financial Companies (approved by Decree-Law No 298/92 of 31 December 1992), may only be accepted by the entities authorised for the purpose in accordance with the provisions laid down in Article 10 of the above-mentioned Legal Framework, whose list is available for consultation on Banco de Portugal's website.
