Governor Radović at the Awards Ceremony for the Best Students of the Faculty of Economics

The CBCG Governor, Irena Radović, PhD, participated in the meeting of the Business Council of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro and the awards ceremony for the best students of the Faculty of Economics in the 2022/23 and 2021/22 study years, with the CBCG as a sponsor.

During the meeting with the Faculty's management and other invitees, the President of Montenegro, Mr Jakov Milatović, the Vice Prime Minister, Mr Aleksa Bečić, the Minister of Finance, Mr Novica Vuković, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Mr Mijat Jocović, and private sector representative, she expressed her delight for attending such an event, emphasising the importance of education as a key resource for Montenegro's development.

"This inspiring night shows the educational institutions' and the financial sector's synergy, illustrating how the joint work may shape the future of young talents in Montenegro", Governor Radović pointed out.

During the event, the Governor met with the awarded students, sincerely congratulating them and encouraging them to continue their efforts and dedication.

"I sincerely congratulate all the awarded students for their remarkable achievement. As a Faculty of Economics' alumni and someone who has been actively engaged in teaching, I am proud to contribute to the development of this educational institution and support its students as the CBCG Governor. I am especially pleased that the Faculty of Economics has been improving its work year after year, among other things, through cooperation with the CBCG," Governor Radović said. She expressed readiness for the CBCG to become the general sponsor of the awards to the best students of the Faculty starting next year.

Previously, Governor Radović was appointed a Business Council of the Faculty of Economics member. On that occasion, she participated in the Council's work, which discussed the information on the activities of the Faculty of Economics in H2 2023, the strategic development of the Faculty of Economics in 2024 and other current issues.

The Business Council of the Faculty of Economics brings together representatives of the executive power, the economy and the academia to improve the educational institution's connection with the public and private sector.
