Petco Love invests in Hall Co. Animal Shelter to save and improve the lives of Hall Co. pets

Hall County Animal Shelter (HCAS) is set to receive a $25,000 grant investment from national nonprofit Petco Love in support of their lifesaving work for animals in Hall County.

"This lifesaving investment will help us reach and treat more pets in our community by providing funding for lifesaving medical support and necessary vaccines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our pet population and members of our community," said Stephanie Maloch, Hall County Animal Shelter supervisor.

The Hall County Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization that provides second chances, love, and care for pets throughout Hall County. From 2020 to 2023, the Hall County Animal Shelter helped over 11,000 pets find homes through private adoptions and rescue partnerships.

"Our investment in the Hall County Animal Shelter is part of more than $15 million in investments recently announced by Petco Love to power local organizations across the country as part of our commitment to create a future in which no pet is unnecessarily euthanized," said Susanne Kogut, president of Petco Love. "Our local investments are only part of our strategy to empower animal lovers to drive lifesaving change right alongside us. We launched Petco Love Lost, a national lost and found database that uses patented image-recognition technology to simplify the search for lost pets."

Petco Love is a national nonprofit leading change for pets by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested $375 million in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. And Petco Love helps find loving homes for pets in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations - like ours - across North America, with 6.75 million pets adopted and counting.

"Petco Love has been a wonderful partner in helping us change lives for the pets in our community, and this lifesaving investment will make it possible for us to assist even more pets in Hall County," said Maloch.
