Minister Miljanić takes part in Regional Anti-Corruption Conference in Skopje

Minister without Portfolio Zoran Miljanić participated in the Regional Anti-Corruption Conference in Skopje.

The conference was dedicated to the implementation of the Regional Anti-Corruption and Illicit Finance Roadmap.

The conference was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia Slavica Grkovska.

The conference was an opportunity to exchange opinions on regional cooperation in the priority areas of the Roadmap. All participants announced that their governments give full political support to the overall activities aimed at fighting corruption in the countries of the Western Balkans.

Miljanić informed the participants about the anti-corruption initiatives carried out by the Government of Montenegro in cooperation with partner countries, as well as about the drafting of the Anti-Corruption Strategy.

The conference was organised by the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia with the support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative and the Government of the United Kingdom.
