The "Ancient Jiangnan - Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Discovery of Hemudu Culture Archaeological Achievements Special Exhibition" held at the National Museum of China on November 8, 2023 returned to Ningbo Museum for a tour yesterday. This exhibition includes important and iconic archaeological discoveries in the Hemudu culture dating back 7000 years. The exhibits include charred rice, pig patterned pottery bowls, twin bird facing sun and butterfly shaped vessels, and eagle shaped pottery beans, all of which are well-known "spokespersons" of the Hemudu culture.
