Taylor Swift Surprise-Dropped Four Songs Last Night

Just before she's set to take the stage for her very first Eras Tour performance, Taylor Swift dropped four previously-unreleased songs at midnight last night with only a few hours' notice."All of the Girls You Loved Before" is a brand-new bonus track for her Lover album, and the other three are re-recordings: "Safe & Sound (Taylor's Version)" and "Eyes Open (Taylor's Version)" from the Hunger Games soundtrack and "If This Was a Movie (Taylor's Version)" from Speak Now.

So far, Taylor has re-recorded and released the albums Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version) in full. "If This Was a Movie" was originally on disc two of the deluxe edition of Speak Now, released in 2010.

The "Safe & Sound (Taylor's Version)" re-recording features Joy Wiliams and John Paul White, who formerly made up the duo The Civil Wars.

The Eras Tour, Taylor's sixth headlining tour, kicks off tonight in Glendale, AZ - a city which temporarily renamed itself "Swift City, Era-zona" for the occasion. She'll be making stops across North America with openers HAIM, GAYLE, OWENN, Gracie Abrams, MUNA, girl in red, Phoebe Bridgers, beabadoobee, and Paramore.

Taylor's most recent album, Midnights, included the lead single "Anti-Hero," which became her ninth number-one song in the U.S. Billboard ranked it as number three on their 50 Best Albums of 2022 list. Hear it on SiriusXM Hits 1 (Ch. 2).
