UTPD Hosting Faith and Blue Weekend Food Drive Oct. 6-9

UTPD is hosting a Faith and Blue weekend Food Drive to benefit the UToledo Student Food Pantry and is asking for help from the UToledo community by sponsoring a collection box.

To participate, place a collection box (any cardboard box will do) in a visible place in your area, encourage people in your area to donate non-perishable food items from Friday, Oct. 6, through Monday, Oct. 9.

There will be a food drive kickoff event Friday, Oct. 6, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Thompson Student Union Trimble Lounge. The UToledo community is asked to bring an extra collection box to the event for use in Thompson Student Union.

Collected food items over the weekend will be presented to the UToledo Student Food Pantry on Monday, Oct. 9., from noon to 2 p.m. in the Thompson Student Union Trimble Lounge.
