Barnes & Thornburg’s Minneapolis Office Named a Top Workplace by Star Tribune

MINNEAPOLIS - The Star Tribune has again named Barnes & Thornburg's Minneapolis office a Top Workplace.

Barnes & Thornburg was recognized for creating a culture where employees feel engaged, appreciated, and fulfilled.

'Our commitment to inclusivity, diversity and supporting our team has remained a priority and has allowed us to maintain our strong workplace culture,' said Connie Lahn, managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg's Minneapolis office. 'We take great pride receiving this recognition again in 2021, especially amid the major changes we have all experienced in the workplace this year.'

Barnes & Thornburg has previously been named to the Top Workplaces list by the Star Tribune in 2020 and 2009. As part of the continued goal in Minneapolis - and across the firm - to promote diversity and inclusion and address racial justice, the Minneapolis office has partnered with local nonprofit All Square in 2020 and the firm's Racial and Social Justice Foundation awarded it a grant.

The Star Tribune is Minnesota's largest news outlet that selects the Top Workplace winners through the feedback of the employees. The endorsement considers 15 culture drivers that include pay, benefits, flexibility, and confidence in company leaders, along with loyalty, motivation, and referral of the company to others.

With more than 700 attorneys and other legal professionals, Barnes & Thornburg is one of the largest law firms in the country. The firm serves clients worldwide from offices in Atlanta, Boston, California, Chicago, Delaware, Indiana, Michigan, Minneapolis, New York, Ohio, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Texas and Washington, D.C.
