INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Jerry A. Niles, age 32, for Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a class E Felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A Misdemeanor, after an investigation conducted by the Washington County Sheriff's Office relating to larcenies from vehicles in the Town of Salem. The investigation determined that Niles had stolen credit cards and other personal belongings from a vehicle in Salem. Additional charges are likely for Niles. At the time of arrest Niles was Wanted on an Arrest Warrant issued by the Village of Cambridge Court.
