Apply for a scholarship to attend Greenbuild 2024 in Philadelphia

USGBC and Greenbuild's scholarship application for the 2024 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo is now open. The annual scholarship program brings community and sustainability leaders to the table to encourage and empower individuals to transform the way they do business in the building industry.

Greenbuild 2024

Greenbuild will take place in person Nov. 12-15 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The scholarship provides expanded benefits, including a complimentary conference pass. This pass includes access to four days of in-person education, hands-on workshops and summits, daily keynotes, pre-event digital summits, the Greenbuild and Mass Timber+ expo hall and education labs, and all Greenbuild-hosted evening events.

Apply for a scholarship or share the opportunity with a colleague. Applications are due Monday, May 27.

Eligibility

USGBC and Greenbuild seek applicants who are working to advance green building, sustainable communities and social equity, and whose work centers around:

• Sustainability
• Health and wellness
• Resilience
• Equity
• ESG

To be eligible for a Greenbuild scholarship, applicants must

• Be 18 years of age or older as of May 31.
• Have not attended Greenbuild in the past.
• Be able to guarantee attendance at a digital convening of scholarship recipients in October 2024 and at Greenbuild in Philadelphia from Nov. 12 to 15.
• Not be a USGBC, GBCI or Greenbuild staff member or contractor, or hold a volunteer leadership position with USGBC, GBCI or Greenbuild.
• Demonstrate a valid and reasonable need for the scholarship as evidenced by an inability to attend Greenbuild without it due to financial and/or professional constraints.
• Demonstrate how their background merits receipt of a scholarship.
• Make a commitment to partnering with USGBC to advance health and sustainability in local communities in 2025.
• Agree to submit a 150-word or 30-second video testimonial on their experience at Greenbuild 2024.

Complete the scholarship application by 11:59 pm ET on Monday, May 27, to be considered for a scholarship. Notifications will be delivered by Monday, August 12.
