Agricultural input price index (Agricultural-IPI) increased by 49.92% annually and by 3.59% monthly

Agricultural-IPI (2020=100) increased by 3.59% compared to previous month, increased by 11.37% compared to December of the previous year, increased by 49.92% compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 36.71% compared to twelve months moving averages, in February 2024.

Monthly changes by main groups, goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased by 3.63% and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 3.34%. Goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased by 46.51% and goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 75.27% compared to same month of the previous year.

Compared to general Agricultural-IPI, lower annual change observed in 4 subgroups while 7 subgroups were higher

Veterinary expenses with 164.78% was the subgroup that indicated the highest annual rate of change.
