On Wednesday, March 6th 2024, South Staffordshire Council was named a Hall of Fame winner by IESE at their Public Sector Transformation Awards having previously been awarded Gold Winner for UK Council of Year in 2022.

South Staffordshire Council was recognised as one of eight Hall of Fame winners which are chosen by IESE alone without prior nomination celebrating councils who have "continuously recognised and addressed challenges facing the industry and have gone above and beyond to transform their services for the better of their communities."

Councillor Lees, Leader of South Staffordshire Council, said "We are delighted to have been recognised as a Hall of Fame winner for our continuous efforts to best support our residents."

The awards ceremony is hosted annually by IESE to offer an opportunity for Public Sectors to celebrate their successful and innovative practices in transforming local public services. The event is sponsored by individual businesses to recognise the efforts of councils for improving their local areas.
