Shooting kicks off on the tenth episode of “Alè Europe” starring paralympic champion Daniele Cassioli

Shooting kicked off today on the 10th episode of "Alè Europe," the series that chronicles, through sports champions, 12 successful projects made possible by European Union initiatives

Novara, April 12, 2023 - Daniele Cassioli, an award-winning Paralympic water skiing champion, will star in the tenth episode of "Alè Europe," the new series produced by Red Carpet, a company of the Iervolino Group & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, which will tell the story of the restoration project of the Visconti Sforzesco Castle in Novara.

"Alè Europe," which will be available for free on CHILI starting at the end of April, is an original and unprecedented format. Over the course of the episodes, 12 champions tell their stories, discovering unexpected points of contact with successful projects made possible by European Union initiatives and funds: stories of the rebirth of places and monuments, the redevelopment of areas, scientific research, new technologies, associations and events in areas of Italy where they grew up or with which they have a special connection.

Through the voice of Daniele Cassioli, the episode filmed today recounts the restoration of Novara's Castle Visconteo Sforzesco. The project is funded through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), designed to revitalize pivotal places of socio-cultural activities in the area. Closely linked to the Novara area - Cassioli trains in Recetto, 20 kilometers from the city - the champion is an interpreter of an enhancement activity that aims to bring to light the region's excellence.

"Alè Europe" is a first-ever winning project of the European call for proposals - Support for information measures relating to the EU Cohesion policy. The project was developed with financial support from the European Union.
