Uzbekistan and Qatar elevated bilateral relations to the status of a Strategic Partnership

On April 15, 2024, in Tashkent, on the sidelines of the Second Foreign Ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue "Central Asia - Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf" the Agreement on the Establishment of Bilateral Strategic Partnership relations was adopted.

The document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
