Vista Outdoor’s Vishak Sankaran Named to CSF Board of Directors

ANOKA, Minn. - Vista Outdoor Inc. (NYSE: VSTO), the parent company of 41 renowned brands that design, manufacture and market sporting and outdoor lifestyle products to consumers around the globe, is proud to announce that Vishak Sankaran, President, Outdoor Accessories and Golf, has been named one of the newest members of the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation (CSF) Board of Directors.

CSF's mission is to work with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to protect and advance hunting, angling, recreational shooting and trapping. The appointment is further proof of Vista Outdoor's commitment to CSF. In December 2022, the company was honored by the organization at its 19th annual NASC Sportsman-Legislator Summit in Bozeman, Mont. Vista Outdoor was a recipient of a Friends of NASC Award for the company's contributions to the advancement of conservation policy and the furtherance of the goals of the NASC network.

Two other outdoor industry executives - Peder von Harten, President and CEO, Nicholas Air, and Brandon Maddox, Founder and CEO, Silencer Central - were also welcomed to the CSF Board alongside Sankaran.

Sankaran joined Vista Outdoor in April 2018. He has more than 20 years of experience in consumer durables, healthcare and industrial verticals. Sankaran is a hunter and recreational shooter who has spent decades leading businesses in outdoor gear and sporting goods, healthcare, and consumer products. As part of his portfolio at Vista Outdoor, he oversees more than a dozen hunting and shooting brands with deep ties to the sporting conservation community.
