(New York, NY) - March 19, 2025 - Discovery Channel's highest-rated freshman series of 2024, EXPEDITION FILES, is back as global adventurer Josh Gates travels through history on a search to uncover new evidence and answers to the world's most captivating and unexplained mysteries - from the Titanic's sinking to Houdini's death to the truth behind Amityville Horror. The new season of EXPEDITION FILES premieres Wednesday, April 16 at 9PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.

Each episode of this series explores riveting true stories that defy explanation, offering stunning revelations and fascinating new insights. In the season premiere, Gates will tackle a trio of conspiracy theories including:

• Titanic: Premiering near the anniversary of Titanic's sinking on April 14, 1912, this episode reveals shocking new findings that more than an iceberg was to blame for the catastrophe.
• Houdini: The true story of the death of the world's most famous magician is finally exposed.
• Lost Civil War Gold: Lost gold, treasure hunters and a lawsuit against the FBI are all part of this enigmatic, controversial story.
