NATIONAL FORENSIC SCIENCE WEEK
September 17, 2023, to September 23, 2023.
A Resolution, which was approved and adopted by the El Paso County Commissioners Court on September 18, 2023, designates the period from September 17, 2023, to September 24, 2023, as forensic science week in El Paso County, Texas.
We would like to extend our recognition to the Crime Scene Unit and Property and Evidence section on behalf of Sheriff Richard D. Wiles and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
National Forensic Science Week aims to raise awareness and acknowledge the crucial role that accurate forensic science plays in the investigation of criminal activities across the nation, encompassing the exoneration of the innocent and the identification of the guilty.
