Update: Additional charges laid against men involved in narcotics theft from Shopper's Drug Mart in Botwood

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP has laid additional charges against 48-year-old Jamie Fudge and 49-year-old Brian Fudge of Botwood in relation to a recent break and enter at Shopper's Drug Mart in Botwood where a safe containing a large quantity of potent narcotics was stolen.

The pair, who were arrested on March 8, 2023, attended court and were remanded into custody.

Additional charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance have been laid against both men. Jamie Fudge is further charged with using a disguise with intent and possession of break-in tools/instruments.

The two appear in court to answer to all charges today.

The identity of a third suspect involved in the break, enter and theft remains under investigation.
