Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Fouad Abd-El-Khalick has appointed a search advisory committee to aid in the selection of the next dean of University Libraries.<_o3a_p>
Dean Nandita Mani, who was named deputy chancellor for institutional effectiveness in June, will continue to lead of the Libraries until the time a new dean is appointed.<_o3a_p>
Jackie Urla, dean of the Graduate School, and Tilman Wolf, deputy chancellor for operational and organizational strategies and senior vice provost for academic affairs, have been named co-chairs of the committee.<_o3a_p>

The firm of Isaacson, Miller has been retained to support the search, which will launch this month. Finalist interviews and forums will take place late in the fall semester.<_o3a_p>
