Part of Avenue D to be closed Saturday, June 1

KILLEEN, Texas (May 15, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Transportation Division will be closing Avenue D from 4th Street to Gray Street onSaturday, June 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, weather permitting.

The City's Downtown Revitalization Division in coordination with Killeen Creators will be preforming maintenance on the crosswalk. The work involves local artists and volunteers painting the crosswalks to improve pedestrian safety, and they will in the streets to perform the work.

Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices in the area.
