School of Health Professions Faculty Present at Annual ASAHP Conference

The Stony Brook School of Health Professions is committed to providing the highest quality education in an interprofessional learning environment that fosters scholarly activity, including basic, translational and educational research, critical thinking, evidence-based practice, leadership, and professionalism, while affirming the importance of ethical behavior, human diversity, equity and inclusion, cutting-edge technology, and a team approach to health care.

Several faculty represented the School of Health Professions this October at the Association of Schools Advancing Health Professions (ASAHP) 2023 Annual Conference, Moving Forward - Emerging Practices and Lasting Changes in Higher Education and Health Professions. This included both concurrent session presentations and poster presentation abstracts. The presentations represented the outstanding collaborative work by our faculty and our commitment to excellence in healthcare education. Topics included interprofessional education and collaboration, and improving diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
