Great Success for the Webinar 'Educating the Educators'

On June 12th, some of Europe's leading researchers in Internationalization at Home gathered for a webinar initiated by CLS. It was a huge success and will eventually have a follow-up event. If you couldn't attend, you now have the chance to watch a recording.

Global job market

Students in higher education need to prepare for a global job market. Therefore, universities and colleges are actively working on internationalization and emphasizing the importance of incorporating intercultural competence for all students, often referred to as "Internationalization at Home."

Teachers have a unique opportunity here to reach all students. Educators point out that professional development is the most significant contributor to success - even though this type of professional development is often severely limited.

This was the reason why Becky Bergman and Hans Malmström initiated this webinar - which attracted nearly 90 guests.
"It can only be described as a success; it exceeded all our expectations," says Becky Bergman. "You can tell there is a great need to discuss these types of issues."
