Personal Injury Collision #4/2024, McNicoll Avenue and Brimley Road

On Monday, January 29, 2024 at approximately 1:45 p.m. police responded to a call for personal injury collision in the McNicoll Avenue and Brimley Road area.

It is reported that:

• the driver of a 2010 Nissan Sentra was travelling westbound on McNicoll Avenue at Brimley Road
• the driver the Nissan was making a left turn on Brimley Road
• a 60-year-old woman cyclist was travelling eastbound on McNicoll Avenue
• the driver of the Nissan struck the cyclist
• the woman was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries
• the driver remained on scene

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, business and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
