REALTORS® to honor Patkunas, Porter and Kempa at April 24 ROTY banquet

Tracy Patkunas, Eric Porter and Paul Kempa will be among local Illinois association REALTORS® of the Year (ROTY) honored April 24 at the 2023 REALTOR® of the Year Banquet in Springfield. Register to attend now.

The ROTY award recognizes members who have done exceptional work to advance their association and the real estate industry.

Patkunas is the Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association (MIRA) ROTY and is a broker for RE/MAX Rising in Bloomington. She is well known for her service on numerous MIRA committees and for her local community involvement. She is the association's 2023 treasurer and chair of its Public Relations Committee. Also, she is a member of the Illinois REALTORS® 2023 Leadership Development Class.

Porter is the Champaign County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) ROTY and is a broker for the Real Estate Group in Champaign. As CCAR president in 2019, Porter helped raise more than $40,000 for Champaign-Urbana's At Home One Winter Night program. He is a member of Illinois REALTORS® Ethics Citation Panel and a graduate of Illinois REALTORS® Leadership Development Program.

Kempa is the REALTOR® Association of the Fox Valley (RAFV) ROTY and is the designated managing broker for Realty ONE Group Excel in Aurora. For more than 20 years, Kempa has used his experience in sales and business development to maximize business growth and provide operational solutions. He's served on numerous Fox Valley committees and task forces, including work on the Building Task Force, helping to retrofit and sell one office and purchase a new one.

Patkunas, Porter and Kempa will join Illinois REALTOR® of the Year Ezekiel "Zeke" Morris, designated managing broker of EXIT Strategy Realty/EMA Management, South Side of Chicago, at the President Abraham Lincoln DoubleTree Hotel. The reception begins at 6 p.m., April 24, followed by the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.
