FOREVER YOUNG AQUAPONICS BREAKS GROUND ON A 70,000 SQUARE FOOT AQUAPONICS FACILITY IN CLAYTON COUNTY

CLAYTON COUNTY, GA - The Andrew J. Young Foundation, in partnership with Forever Young Aquaponics, and in collaboration with the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Forever Young Aquaponics facility on Thursday, May 16, 2024. The 70,000 square foot facility is poised to revolutionize the local agricultural landscape, offering sustainable, organic, leafy greens to nine major cities throughout the southeast.

Aquaponics, the integration of aquaculture and hydroponics, represents a cutting-edge approach to farming. Utilizing a self-sustaining ecosystem where waste from fish fertilizes plants, which then filter the water returning to the fish, this innovative method achieves remarkable results with minimal environmental impact. The facility will create environmentally responsible produce that is pesticide and chemical-free, USDA organic, and creates a closed-loop system with no environmental discharge.

Compared to traditional farming, Forever Young Aquaponics' facility will have a 48% lesser carbon footprint and maximize water efficiency to use 92% less water. Forever Young Aquaponics promises a sustainable future, offering superior yield and quality with mainstream market pricing. Despite its advanced technology, products remain competitively priced, ensuring accessibility for all consumers. With high-density growing techniques and a controlled environment, it offers a lucrative investment opportunity in the rapidly growing controlled environment agriculture sector with production that doubles after four years.

The groundbreaking ceremony signifies the beginning of a new era in agriculture, one that prioritizes sustainability, innovation, and community welfare. Speakers and presenters included Ambassador Andrew Young, Rawson Haverty of Forever Young Aquaponics, Gaurav Kumar of Andrew Young Foundation, Clayton County Economic Development Officer, Erica Rocker, Clayton County Commissioner, Jeffrey Turner, and Clayton County COO, Detrick Stanford.
