Nancy M. DiLiegro Named President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinitas Regional Medical Center

West Orange, NJ, March 9, 2023 - Nancy M. DiLiegro, PhD, FACHE has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinitas Regional Medical Center (TRMC), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, effective April 15, 2023. Dr. DiLiegro currently serves as the hospital's Chief Clinical Officer, Vice President of Clinical Operations and Physician Services, and will succeed Gary Horan, who retires next month after more than 21 years as the hospital's leader.

Dr. DiLiegro joined Trinitas in April 2002 as Director of Clinical Operations, a position she held until 2008. She was promoted to Vice President, clinical services, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in 2008, and to Vice President, Clinical and Physician Services in 2009. She has been in her current position since 2013. Previously, she held various management positions at Lenox Hill Hospital, Montefiore Medical Center and Our Lady of Mercy Healthcare System.

Dr. DiLiegro served on the Board of Governors of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) an international professional society of more than 48,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. In addition to her service with ACHE, she is affiliated with numerous national and regional organizations, including American Heart Association, Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists. She served on the Board of the Founders Affiliate of the American Heart Association, on the Northern New Jersey board of the American Heart Association, where she served as chair for four years, and on the board of the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including ACHE-NJ Senior Level Healthcare Executive Regent Award, ACHE-NJ Recognition Award, American Heart Association Woman of Distinction Award and the Humanitarian with a Heart Award New York City Society of Health-System Pharmacists Award of Merit and the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists Board of Directors Award and the 2015 ACHE Service Award.
