Wachs Water Services Crews in Waterford

Wachs Water Services Crews in Waterford

Starting April 1, 2024, residents, businesses, and visitors will begin to see trucks from Wachs Water Services (photo attached) throughout the Township completing the DPW Valve Assessment and Exercising Program. The Wachs Water Services crews will be assessing and exercising approximately 3,800 valves in the water distribution system. If required, crews will complete minor repairs on a number of the valves.

The valves are located in green belts, easements, and along roadways, usually in wells with manhole covers. The crews may have to close traffic lanes for short periods of time for their safety and the safety of motorists. Patience and understanding would be appreciated. The project is expected to take four to five months and will start in Section 1 of the Township and continue through each section sequentially.

A numbered section map is included below for reference.
