On May 26–27, Vladimir Putin will be on a state visit to Uzbekistan

The agenda of the talks includes the current state and future of the strategic partnership and allied relations between Russia and Uzbekistan. The two presidents also intend to exchange views on topical regional matters.

Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the first meeting of the Council of the Regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The visit is expected to pave the way to the signing of a solid package of bilateral documents.
