New York, Minister Xhaçka meets Nasser Bourita: Morocco should recognize Kosovo’s independence

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Morocco, Nasser Bourita in New York.

During the meeting, Minister Xhaçka asked her Moroccan counterpart for the recognition of Kosovo as an independent state, stressing that this would contribute to peace and stability.

The focus of the meeting was the bilateral relations between the two countries, as the two officials discussed the possibilities of intensifying cooperation in other areas of common interest.

Minister Xhaçka is in New York, as part of the High-Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly, and as part of the Albanian delegation headed by Prime Minister Rama.
