Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić is paying an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the invitation of Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija. The meeting noted that Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are determined to contribute to the intensification of dialogue in the region on all issues of common interest, because close regional cooperation is the key to overcoming open issues and continuing the process of European integration of the Western Balkan countries.
Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić expressed his satisfaction with the visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and pointed out that the two countries have excellent cooperation at all levels, which is confirmed by the recent visit of the Ministers of the Government of Montenegro to Sarajevo. 'The Montenegrin Government is dedicated to fulfilling the given promises, including strengthening regional cooperation as a precondition for a better, more advanced and European region.'
PM Krivokapić pointed out that Montenegro is ready for the tourist season, and that he hopes that Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will improve economic cooperation, in order to raise the quality of life of the citizens of both countries.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija thanked Prime Minister Krivokapić for his visit and expressed satisfaction that the Prime Minister of Montenegro had chosen to visit the whole of BiH and get acquainted with its internal organisation. 'Since diplomatic relations in 2006, Montenegro and BiH have had good and friendly relations without open issues, and only with Montenegro we don't have a border problem,' Tegeltija said.
Tegeltija said he was looking forward to improving economic and regional cooperation.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed infrastructure projects and models of cooperation in areas of mutual interest and expressed their commitment to cooperate more intensively in the coming period to create the best possible preconditions for economic and overall cooperation between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
