Grab a book and share new experiences with friends and family at the Lewisville Public Library, 1197 W. Main Street. The library is open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.

VITA Income Tax Preparation
For adults

United Way of Denton County offers free tax preparation assistance for anyone with an income up to $64,000 per year, on Thursdays and Saturdays through April 13. No appointment is required. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Check library.cityoflewisville.com for more information on what documents to bring. Assistance in Spanish is also available.

AARP Tax Aide
Mondays, thru April 15, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers provide free tax preparation assistance for basic federal income tax returns. They are unable to assist with returns containing rental properties, or farming or business expenses. They are unable to assist with state income tax returns. Other restrictions may apply. Tax-Aide is available by appointment only. A limited number of appointments are available.
