Day of Mourning to be observed in Serbia on 18 March over Kočani tragedy

At tomorrow's session, the Government of the Republic of Serbia will, at the proposal of the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, declare Tuesday, 18 March 2025, a Day of Mourning in the Republic of Serbia due to the tragedy in the Republic of North Macedonia.

Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and President Vučić held talks this morning regarding the tragedy in Kočani, in the Republic of North Macedonia, where a large number of people lost their lives in a nightclub fire, following which it was decided that 18 March will be marked as a Day of Mourning in the Republic of Serbia.
