The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso, visits Brazil

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassdor, Mauro Vieira, hosted the foreign minister of the Republic of the Congo, Jean-Claude Gakosso, today.

They discuss priority areas of the bilateral cooperation, environment and climate change.

The most recent ministerial visit took place in March 2023, when the Minister of the Environment, Sustainable Development and the Congo Basin of the Republic of Congo, Arlette Soudan-Nonault, traveled to Brazil. Congolese President Denis Sassou N'Guesso visited Brazil in August 2023, to take part in the Amazon Summit, in Belém.
