Covid-19 spring booster programme

In line with guidance issued by the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, the 2024 spring booster vaccination programme will shortly begin.

The programme will be delivered in partnership with Primary Care providers across the islands.

Islanders eligible for a Covid spring booster are:

• All adults aged 75 years and over
• Residents in a care home for older adults
• Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in tables 3 or 4 in COVID-19: the green book, chapter 14a - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

The programme will begin on Saturday 13^th April and end on Saturday 29^th June. If you wish to receive your vaccine, please contact your GP surgery once you have received your invitation.

Primary Care providers will shortly contact eligible patients to invite them for a booster. For any queries around Covid-19 vaccination please contact your GP practice.
