Lake City Bank Announces Promotions

Lake City Bank is pleased to announce the following promotions.

Chris Wiggins has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial South Regional Manager. In this position, Wiggins specializes in providing lending solutions to businesses and business owners. In addition, he manages workflow for the commercial and industrial bankers in Kosciusko County and surrounding counties. He has been with the bank for 18 years. Wiggins earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Gardner-Webb University. He is a board member of the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO), a Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce board member, and treasurer of Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice and Baker Youth Club. Wiggins volunteers as a basketball coach with AGAITAS and Tiger Basketball Academy.

Melissa Blosser has been promoted to First Vice President, Retail Banking Regional Manager. Blosser oversees the 10 bank branches in St. Joseph and Elkhart counties and provides support to their individual office managers. She has been with the bank for 13 years. Blosser attended Cedarville University and is a graduate of the Elkhart Leadership Academy. She is a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Habitat for Humanity, Inc., and Ryan's Place. Blosser is a member of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Academy Council. She volunteers with the Greater Elkhart Chamber Leadership Academy, the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, Lake City Bank's Reality Store and teaches Money Smart classes.

Jeannine Cooley, CRCM, has been promoted to First Vice President, CRA Compliance & Security Manager. In this position, Cooley leads the bank's Compliance Department, managing the bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), fair lending and state and federal regulatory activity, and also manages the bank's Facilities Security Department. Cooley has been with the bank for 37 years and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). Among other interests, Cooley volunteers with Lincoln Caring Families of Lincoln Elementary in Huntington.

Tim Schlichte has been promoted to First Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. In this position, Schlichte develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been with the bank for 10 years. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Xavier University. Schlichte also a completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He serves on the board of directors for Indiana Wish.

Reneta Thurairatnam, CFP®, CTFA, has been promoted to First Vice President, Senior Wealth Advisor, in the bank's Wealth Advisory Group. In this position, Thurairatnam works with clients to provide advice and access to all of the bank's wealth management services including financial planning, trust administration, investment management and estate planning. She has been with the bank for more than eight years. Thurairatnam has Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) certifications. She earned her bachelor's degree in business economics with a minor in management from Huntington University and a master of business administration degree with a concentration in international business from the University of Saint Francis. Thurairatnam is a Leadership Fort Wayne graduate and recipient of the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly Forty Under 40 award. She is a Parkview Foundation board member, and a board member and treasurer of Humane Fort Wayne. Thurairatnam is a board and finance committee member of the Allen County Public Library and Vera Bradley foundations. She is a finance committee member of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne. Thurairatnam volunteers with Junior Achievement. She is also part of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force at Lake City Bank.

Karina Cervantes has been promoted to Vice President, People Development Officer. In this position, Cervantes manages the bank's employee relations program and supports supervisors in helping employees achieve outstanding performance. In addition, Cervantes performs a wide variety of functions in People Development including onboarding new employees, assisting in managing employee leaves and supporting benefits and wellness, and organizing special projects and events. She has been with the bank for 11 years. Cervantes earned her bachelor's degree in business from the International Business College. She is part of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force at Lake City Bank.

Lori Cunningham has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer, at the bank's Ligonier Downtown branch. In this position, Cunningham leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 35 years. Cunningham is a member of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with Junior Achievement and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana.

David Curry has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer. In this position, Curry develops relationships with commercial clients to provide financing and banking solutions. He has been with the bank for eight years. Curry earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Trine University. He is vice president of fund development for Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana. Curry volunteers with Junior Achievement and United Way.

Rich Hoover has been promoted to Vice President, Director of Properties Management. In this role, Hoover oversees the maintenance, renovation and building of all company properties as well as managing the bank's property maintenance staff. He has been with the bank for 11 years. Hoover attended classes through the local chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.

Cari Juillerat has been promoted to Vice President, Agribusiness Banking Officer. In this position, Juillerat is responsible for developing relationships with farmers and other businesses to provide financing and banking solutions. She has been with the bank for 10 years. Juillerat earned her bachelor's degree in agricultural finance from Purdue University. She is a committee member for Indiana Bankers Association (IBA) Ag Bankers, a Whitko FFA livestock judging coach, and president of Whitley County Young Farmers. Juillerat serves as an advisory board member for the Whitley County 4-H Rabbit Club and volunteers with 4-H programs in Whitley and Kosciusko counties.

Kim Mattke has been promoted to Vice President, Security Administration Manager. In this position, Mattke manages the team that provides technology security and auditing. She works on the bank's technology budget and inventory tracking. Mattke has been with the bank for 17 years. She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Jana Miller has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Ligonier South branch. In this position, Miller leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 28 years. Miller earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Hanover College. She is a member of the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce, investment committee chair of the Community Foundation of Noble County and finance committee member of Crossroads United Way. Miller volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Sonia Teske has been promoted to Vice President, Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Bremen branch. In this position, Teske leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 16 years. Teske is a member of the Bremen Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County, Elkhart County 4-H Fair, Nappanee Power from the Past and the Nappanee Apple Festival.

Diane Wirth has been promoted to Vice President, Deposit Application Manager. In this position, Wirth manages the bank's deposit solutions, working cross functionally to ensure the needs of business units and clients are being met. She has been with the bank for 28 years. She attended Manchester College. Wirth volunteers with Lake City Bank's Reality Store, Marshall County Resale and Habitat for Humanity.

Mareen Barton has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer at the bank's LaGrange branch. In this position, Barton leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for four years. Barton serves as an ambassador for the LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce, finance officer for LaGrange County Arts, and is a board member for United Way. Barton also volunteers with the LaGrange County Community Foundation, Real Mentors Read and LaGrange Communities Youth Center.

Brooke Bentley has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Kendallville branch. In this position, Bentley leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 24 years. Bentley earned an associate degree in accounting from the International Business College. She is vice president of the Noble County Council on Aging and volunteers with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Joe Burtnette has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Business Banking Officer. In this position, Burtnette is responsible for underwriting and approving commercial loan applications for banking clients, as well as portfolio management of the bank's Business Banking portfolio. He has been with the bank for six years. Burtnette earned his bachelor's degree in business finance from Indiana University Fort Wayne (formerly Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne).

Chris Himes has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, ACH Electronic Banking Officer. In this role, Himes coordinates Automated Clearing House (ACH) compliance and administrative activities, oversees ACH processes and supports the ACH team through training and development. She has been with the bank for 25 years. Himes earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Accredited ACH Professional certification through the National Automated Clearing House Association. She volunteers as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and as a financial literacy mentor for the Learn More Center in North Manchester.

Michele VanZile-Myers has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Transaction Product Officer. In this position, VanZile-Myers manages software applications associated with processing and imaging bank transaction records. She also helps introduce enhancements and supports system users. VanZile-Myers has been with the bank for 28 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Ball State University. VanZile-Myers volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Virginia Wirt has been promoted to Assistant Vice President, Senior Loan Administration Officer. In this position, Wirt works with bankers on construction loans, inspections, documentation, closings, funding and title documentation. She has been with the bank for 18 years. Wirt serves on the board of directors for the Elkhart Kiwanis Club and is board secretary of the Samaritan Center in Elkhart. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and the Salvation Army.

Ashley Bridges has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Indianapolis North branch. In this position, Bridges leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for eight years. Bridges earned an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. She is a member of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce.

Janel Burnworth has been promoted to Retirement Services Officer. In this position, Burnworth is responsible for the operational aspects of all retirement plan services relationships. She has been with the bank for 14 years. Burnworth volunteers with Junior Achievement, Lake City Bank's Reality Store and Warsaw Community Church.

Lisa Goon has been promoted to Retail Loan Operations Officer. In this position, Goon is responsible for coordinating workflow and compliance within Retail Loan Operations. She also provides direction and support to the team. Goon has been with the bank for 23 years. She volunteers with Junior Achievement, Lake City Bank's Reality Store, Kosciusko County 4-H Swine Committee and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

Alma Jimenez has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Goshen South branch. In this position, Jimenez leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for eight years. Jimenez earned an associate degree in business administration from Ivy Tech Community College. She serves as an ambassador for Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a member of the National Immigration Justice Center Advisory Council. Jimenez volunteers with Junior Achievement and Lake City Bank's Reality Store.

Erin Martz has been promoted to Senior Loan Administration Officer. In this position, Martz works with bankers on closings, inspections, funding and title documentation for commercial loans. She has been with the bank for nine years. Martz earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Indiana University. She is treasurer of Indiana Birth Coalition and volunteers with Northwest Hendricks County Schools. She is also a member of the bank's Diversity and Inclusion Task Force.

Nichole Mendez has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Fort Wayne Downtown branch. In this position, Mendez leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for six years.

Chrissy Myer has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Elkhart River District branch. In this position, Myer leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 14 years. Myer earned an associate degree in accounting from Southwest Michigan College. She volunteers with Lake City Bank's Reality Store and teaches Money Smart classes.

Phil Nguyen has been promoted to Investment Officer. Nguyen manages investment portfolios and provides financial planning services for Wealth Advisory Group clients. He has been with the bank for six years. Nguyen earned his bachelor's degree in finance and a Bank Management Certification from Purdue University Fort Wayne. He is a member of the Investment & Wealth Institute (IWI) and Risk Management Association (RMA).

Kim Orr has been promoted to Retail Banking Officer at the bank's Mentone branch. In this position, Orr leads sales and service efforts in the branch, manages daily operations of the
office and supports office staff in their efforts to provide quality service and build customer relationships. She has been with the bank for 27 years. Orr volunteers with Junior Achievement.

Jackie Stout has been promoted to Technology Services Officer and Manager. In this position, Stout manages the PC Technician team that provides service and timely hardware support throughout the bank. She also oversees the bank's internal help desk. She has been with the bank for nearly a year. Stout earned an associate degree in computer information systems networking specialist from Ivy Tech Community College.
