Inspections This Week on Stone Quarry Road and W. Main Street Bridges Over Route 222 in Lancaster County

​Lane restrictions on Route 222

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that inspections are planned for this week on the Stone Quarry Road (Route 1070) and W. Main Street (Route 1010) bridges spanning Route 222 in West Earl Township, Lancaster County. The bridges span Route 222 between Mile 35.5 and Mile 35.9.

Weather permitting, the inspections will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 7, and Thursday, August 8. There will be alternating left and right lane restrictions on northbound Route 222 on Wednesday, and on southbound Route 222 on Thursday during work hours.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
