Bureau of Meteorology Senior Meteorologist Michael Efron discusses:

- Wet and windy conditions across Victoria

- A Severe Weather Warning has been issued for the risk of damaging wind gusts about Alpine areas. http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/warnings/index.shtml

- Gusty winds may affect much of eastern Victoria tonight and on Saturday morning including previously storm-damaged areas.

- Rainfall over East Gippsland today may cause minor flooding in some catchments, and a Flood Watch is current.

- Reminder to monitor any severe weather warnings
