Programme for suppressing gray economy until 2025 adopted

The government of the Republic of Serbia adopted at today's session the Programme for Suppression of the Gray Economy for the period 2023-2025, given that the fight against the gray economy is one of its priorities and that the state has been implementing it for years.

The programme was adopted in order to start implementing the planned activities and measures to suppress the gray economy as soon as possible, with the aim of reducing its share in the total economic activity in Serbia and reducing it to the lowest possible level on the market. Therefore, approaching the solution of this social challenge requires the use of active and systemic public policy measures.

The members of the government passed the Decision to form the emergency situations team, comprising line ministers, heads of state bodies, expert associates of the Ministry of the Interior, the Serbian Army, the Serbian Red Cross, the Mountain Rescue Service, directors of public companies in the field of transport, forestry, water utilities, electricity utilities, as well as managers of other bodies, special organisations, organizations and institutions whose scope includes tasks in the field of protection and rescue.

At the session, the Decision to form the Coordinating Body for Digitalisation in the Health System of the Republic of Serbia was adopted, whose tasks are aligned with the government's programme, with the aim of creating modern healthcare that includes integrated information systems in the healthcare system and thus enables safe access and use of healthcare data, contributes to the quality, efficiency and availability of health care for citizens.

At the meeting, the Decree on the issuance of the additional postage stamp "Roof 2023" was adopted, the implementation of which would provide the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration with funds to finance the purchase of up to 10 rural households for families of refugees and internally displaced persons in Serbia.

The additional stamp will be issued in the period from 27 March to 9 April 2023 in a circulation of 1.5 million pieces in the denomination of RSD 10, so that when selling the total circulation it will be possible to realize a gross amount of RSD 15 million.
