The week of September 30, 2021 the LA City Council Approved the Designation of 15 Oak Trees located between 11755 and 11805 West Magnolia Boulevard in Valley Village as Historic-Cultural Monuments. An Arborist Report noted that the Trees range in age from 64 to 232, with more than Half over 100.
The Neighborhood Council Valley Village Played an Essential Role in Achieving this Outcome. "I am very Proud of the Five-Year effort of our Neighborhood Council Valley Village Board and our Committed Stakeholders to obtain Historic Designation for these Trees," said NCVV President Tony Braswell
