Detectives Investigating Overnight Murder in South Nashville's William Pitts Park

Homicide Unit detectives are working to identify the person responsible for the overnight murder of Francisco Almazan-Rojas, 36, who was found shot to death at 8 a.m. today in William Pitts Park off Tusculum Road.

The victim's red 2012 Ford F-150 pickup truck (Tennessee license plate number 450BKBB) is missing. He was known to have driven it Saturday night.

Anyone with information on the fatal shooting of Almazan-Rojas or his pickup truck is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a reward of up to $5,000 in homicide cases.
