UWO Now: UWO alumna helps businesses develop sense of belonging in the workplace

On the latest episode of the UWO Now podcast, host Wendell Ray talks with UW Oshkosh alumna and leadership coach Katie Rasoul, who explains how she helps businesses leaders develop a sense of belonging for their employees.

Rasoul, who earned a degree in finance, said she always gravitated to human resources (HR) roles. She worked for Target Corporation for nine years, in HR leadership and managing a couple of stores, before starting her own consulting company, Team Awesome.

Rasoul says employees go to work for more than a paycheck.

"I believe we go to work in search of belonging. That's important for organizations to understand," she said. "Why would we not see that as an opportunity?"
