Gods Lake Narrows RCMP investigate hit and run

On June 26, 2022, at approximately 11:20 pm, Gods Lake Narrows RCMP received a report of a hit and run involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a pedestrian.

Earlier that night at approximately 9:45 pm, a 14-year-old female from the community was walking on a trail behind the old school, when she was hit from behind by a green ATV, driven by two males. The ATV stopped briefly before fleeing. The female managed to call for help and was taken to the nursing station with non-life threatening injuries.
