Hunton Andrews Kurth Represents Capital Funding Bancorp, Inc. in its $125 Million Equity Offering

Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP advised Capital Funding Bancorp, Inc., holding company for CFG Bank, in its $125 million equity offering which closed on December 19, 2023. J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC has initially made a $125-million, all-primary equity investment into the Company, which can increase to as much as $165 million over the next five years, for a minority interest in Capital Funding Bancorp, Inc.

This transaction represents the 2nd largest announced equity raise for a U.S. bank under $100 billion in assets in 2023. The proceeds will be used to support CFG Bank's growth in national healthcare and multifamily lending businesses, to pay off holding company debt and for general corporate purposes.
