IRB, MAG and PUC-Rio innovation program enrolls university students

The Insurtech Innovation Program, an open innovation program of IRB Brasil RE, MAG Seguros and PUC-Rio, enrolled university students interested in working in the sixth edition of the initiative as of March 2023. Students from any undergraduate course from anywhere can participate from the country.

The program, which lasts for one year and it is coordinated by PUC-Rio, offers 24 spots. Insurtech develops undergraduate students and company employees with modern technical knowledge and tools, that generate a positive impact on the insurance and reinsurance market through innovative solutions.

The selection process includes reviewing the filled forms and submission of materials, including videos, a timeline on personal and academic life and a description of the candidate. The second step consists of personal interviews.

To participate, students must be regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses and all those selected will receive an internship scholarship. Students must be available daily in the afternoon - program activities will take place from Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Throughout the program, students will be divided into multidisciplinary teams to propose solutions to challenges in various topics related to the insurance and reinsurance market, as well as developing knowledge of innovation and technological tools such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things and blockchain.
