On March 26, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested David W. Pope, age 59, last known address of 121 Lawn Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Mr. Pope was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department.

On March 27, 2024, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Jose Mojica, age 38, of 13 Winter Street, Lincoln, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz - 1 kilogram of a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Cocaine; and 3) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance - Crack Cocaine. Mr. Mojica was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing and arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was ordered held without bail as a parole violator on a previous conviction for Murder II.
