Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan Ismatulla Irgashev's meeting with the Rapporteur of the European Parliament on Uzbekistan Ilkhan Kyuchyuk

On February 22, 2023, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Rapporteur of the European Parliament for Uzbekistan Ilkhan Kyuchyuk.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Parliament on Afghanistan issues.

Mr. Irgashev informed European Parliament delegation about the efforts of Uzbekistan to provide humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, as well as economic assistance to this country.

Mr. Kyuchyuk stressed the significant role of Uzbekistan in establishing a long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
