Notice of Construction and Road Closure Update (Walker Road)

Beginning Monday, May 22nd, the intersection of 6th Street and Walker Road will be completely closed while the contractor ties in utilities as part of the Westside Interceptor Project. Walker Road remains closed to through traffic from Sixth Street to Stoltz Hill Road a detour route using Vaughan Lane is also still in place to guide motorists around the closure.

The City of Lebanon would like to remind motorists who need access to the residential areas south of Walker Road to use the detour routes and avoid Walker Road. There are multiple gravel trenches, construction equipment, and construction workers in this area currently working on the re-construction of Walker Road.

Message Boards are currently up on Walker Road at Stoltz Hill and close to South Main Road to inform motorists of the Walker Road closure. Residents are also encouraged to go the City of Lebanon website at https://www.ci.lebanon.or.us/gis for continuous updates regarding construction location and current road closures.
